External elements: Owner

So far, it has always been necessary to have all data of all schools involved in one single database if external elements were used. As of the 2017 version, this is not necessary anymore. Every school can have its own database and all external elements are saved in a central database.

Go to the 'Start' tab and open via 'Settings | Open Untis.ini...' Untis.ini and enter in the section 'Database' the following lines 'odbc2=[name of external database]' and 'MultiDb=1'.

When the databases are set up the schools can start with creating external resources.

Note!

Which schools potentially have access to external resources is regulated via the database of external elements. Every school having access to this database can be selected.
