User administration

Untis MultiUser has a hierarchic user rights system which is structured as follows

• User groups

 Every user grouphas explicitly defined rights. You can assign as many users to one user group as you wish.

• Users

 Every user is assigned to exactly one user group.

When you start Untis for the first time with an empty database in the database mode, the user group "Administrator" - which is furnished with all user rights - is created automatically. At the same time, a user "Administrator" will be created who is part of this group. Neither user nor user group can be deleted or changed.

Note:

The automatically created user "Administrator" does initially not have a password. You need to assign one to him.
