Export data to a .gpn file

previous  Top  next

You can store the data of the version that you are currently working with in a .gpn file via "File | Export the data to a .gpn file..." This allows you to work on a computer which does not have a database connection (e.g. a notebook) and transfer the data back to the database. The instructions of this transfer are described on the following pages.

You can also transfer data to a .gpn file to make a backup (see chapter " Data backup ").

You need the authorisation "Data import/export" to perform this export. Please refer to chapter " User administration" for more information on authorisations.
